  • On-going help will be provided, as needed. 

  • You should refer to your textbook for additional help and samples.

Welcome to Dr. Shegog's Computer Software Applications (CSA1) class website.

The Computer Software Applications (CSA1) class is the second course in the ETC sequence for the Information Processing cluster.  Students will improve their keyboarding skills/typing speed and develop their knowledge of Microsoft software applications, including Publisher and Outlook.

Students will also complete projects and participaate in a variety of acitvities designed to increase their workplace competencies.

CSA1 Class Syllabus

Students follow the Education-to-Careers (ETC) course syllabus for Computer Software Applications 1

All students are required to complete the followings:

*  A Daily Bell-Ringer assignment (computer)
*  Daily Log of activities, including "I can"
   statements (computer),
*  Note-taking using the Cornell Method
(daily)

Practical (computer) and Written Assessments
Reading and Written Assignments
Integrated Projects
Keytrain-Workkeys practice lessons  
*  Other Enrichment & Technology-Related   
    Activities and Projects
