IEPs and Assistive Technologies   

    "During the IEP process, Assistive Technology must be considered for every student and then provided by the Chicago Public Schools, if required in a child's IEP to access their free and appropriate public education (FAPE). Assistive technologies refers to "services" and "devices" defined by IDEA for special education students."
